Amy A. Taylor, CMCA, AMS
Co-Founder and Manager
Amy brings over 27 years of experience to Tru-Star Management Solutions LLC, and has managed community associations in both California and Arizona. She is a seasoned professional with the knowledge and history to manage every type of community. Amy has been the General Manager at a large-scale, active-adult community consisting of over 2,000 homes, as well as a portfolio manager for associations controlled by homeowners and developers that include high-rise buildings, commercial properties, and custom homes. Amy strives for excellence in community management and uses her keen negotiating skills to ensure communities operate within budget and build value. She is extremely passionate about providing responsive customer service and building long-term, successful working relationships with homeowners, clients and vendors.
Education has been a key component in Amy’s career. She currently holds the CMCA and AMS designations with the National Community Association Institute (CAI) and the CAAM designation with the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM). Amy has completed all courses required for the prestigious PCAM and is currently working on the final conditions to earn this designation. This is the highest designation that can be professionally earned. Amy also held her CCAM designation with the California Association of Community Managers (CACM).
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and family, spending time at their property in Flagstaff, traveling abroad and spoiling her granddaughter.
Jodi L. Webster, CMCA
Co-Founder and Manager
Jodi brings over 17 years of community association management expertise to Tru-Star Management Solutions. She has worked with professional land developers and homebuilders throughout Arizona in establishing their community associations from planning through transition to homeowner control. She also has significant knowledge and experience from serving on numerous developer controlled HOA boards while working for one of the nation’s leading home builders as their HOA/DRE Manager.
Jodi brings significant community association management experience to the company through her time managing multiple property types. Jodi has been the Executive Director of a large-scale community consisting of over 1,600 homes. She has also been the on-site community manager of a luxury mid-rise condominium, as well as a portfolio manager for associations controlled by homeowners and developers that include commercial properties, single-family homes and custom homes. Most recently, Jodi has served the industry as the Education Manager at the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM). With a passion for customer service, Jodi has proven to be an excellent relationship builder who listens carefully to each client’s unique needs and creates an effective management plan that ensures the vision and goals for the community are achieved.
In her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband and their five dogs. She also enjoys traveling, bike riding, writing, cooking and volunteering as a dog foster for Lost Our Home Pet Foundation in Tempe, Arizona.
