1. the quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult
As a volunteer board member, we know that serving your community is not an easy task. Oftentimes it is a thankless job that brings more criticism than appreciation. Some days are already burdened enough by the complexities of every-day life, without the additional responsibility of successfully overseeing your community association. You might get tired of serving on your board and eventually ask yourself if it might be time to walk away and allow someone else to fill your seat. If these thoughts ever cross your mind, it is important to remember why you got on the board in the first place. Perhaps the reserves weren’t being funded properly or the landscaping was an eyesore. In moments like this, ask yourself; what kind of shape would the community be in without my individual involvement, contributions or perseverance? Sometimes it is important that you remember to take a look back in order to see how far that you’ve come and recognize the accomplishments that you’ve had along the way. You are an asset to your community and you are performing an important job that very few ever volunteer to do. That makes you awesome in our eyes.
Tru-Star Management Solutions personally appreciates your perseverance in serving your community. Keep up the great work!
